Serge Poliakoff (1900-1969)

Serge Poliakoff was a Russian painter, graphic artist, illustrator and stage designer. He was one of the most important representatives of the École de Paris and of modern abstract painting in France. With a few, clear, geometric color shapes, which he interlocks like a puzzle, he developed his very own visual language.
